I want to be Kitty Butler when I grow up.

1. Every time I think to myself, "I am beat" I think of Jack Kerouac. I'm not some 50's hipster and I don't plan to be. That era amuses me, especially after reading TC Boyle's short story aptly titled Beat. Were all the kids just running around trying to convince themselves and everyone else that they were cool? Beat this, and Beat that. My fucking pencil is Beat, man, and I was there. Really, I'm just fucking tired.
2. The only thing pleasant about Thursday will be seeing certain family members and my best friend at my side. Oh, and no classes.
3. I keep getting those "special people" to wait on. This one pair was very disturbing, mainly because they would STARE at every worker in the most creeptastic way. For all the shit I talk, this is karma -- if there is such a thing -- in full force.
4. Yeah, a friend got me hooked. Fuck you, friend.
