A few years ago, just in 2009, I started listening to a new band (My chemical romance), with a new style, new sounds and different and harder themes, compared to the music I used to listen to.
At that time I could not surf the internet and so I just listened to them and watched them on MTV, until 2011, when I heard about their return to Italy, in March. So, in the first months of that year, I started to approach the internet and I did not know how it worked... So, doing some research, I came across an Italian forum dedicated to the band.
I was literally euphoric! I signed up and started to browse.
Since I could surf the internet for a short time, it took me a couple of days to find the "MCR Sicily" section and when it happened, I started screaming and crying with joy.
I was really incredulous to have found other people in my region who knew this band. We started talking on the forum and then we exchanged Facebook contacts.
Some time before the concert, we agreed to meet each other to do street teams, to make My Chemical Romance more known in our city.
We met once a week and it was always beautiful. We were girls aged 14 to 20, with a passion that we shared.
Our first meeting was a mix of anxiety, fear and curiosity, because we did not know who we could find ourselves in front of and how to behave. But everything came naturally.
Unfortunately, like everything, even our street team and our euphoria went to wane. We always had more personal commitments and less time to see each other. But thanks to Facebook we could feel every day.
However, as is natural, I struck a stronger bond with a girl, much younger than me, but who immediately showed a unique maturity.
We live 30 minutes away and this allowed us to see other times and more time passed, and more we were tied. In addition to the band, we discovered that we had many things in common and we understood that our friendship would last for a long time.
When the acquaintances had just finished the eighth grade and I was already 18 years old. I saw her grow up, face the first serious loves and I helped her in many situations.
Even now we have a strong bond, despite its 2-hour transfer from here.
I witnessed the achievement of the most beautiful goals of his life.
I hope to assist others, more and more beautiful.
I really love her and sincerely, the difference in age is not perceived in the least and I am very happy to have had "courage" and to have accepted the invitation of people known on the internet.
