Easter Exposition Engineered Exquisitly Explaining Electrifying Events.
alliteration is cooooool
As I commented earler, I say humbug to the resurrection, lent, and rabbits carrying pagan eggs symbolizing rebirth. I am. however, in favor of spring!
Spring things I'm looking forward to (in no particular order):
1. I'm going to my first wedding. For most, this isn't a big deal. However, I have never been much of the family Maddog, my mom's brother has been single as long as I've known him, I wasn't part of my dad's wedding (and subsequent quick divorce), and my dad's side of the family is all spread out and doesn't really talk to each other. Plus, I was specifically told I could not go to a friends wedding, as apparently his wife holds an old grudge for a tactless comment my drunk self made in reference to her outfit when she was a cocktail waitress at the then new casino(s) in Detroit. The only other one I was invited to was after I had made plans to go to my first Burning Man
2. Finishing up my sleeve. I added some new pics, which you can get to by clicking here. Speaking of sleeves, have you seen the work by Frankie? It's quite good. I'd be all about letting her work on me, alas we are an ocean apart
3. The weather. Granted, there is the inevitable Colorado snow dump in April, and the winter here is so tame it's barely comparable to Fall on the East Coast, but more sunshine is more sunshine. The weather change completely gives me a mood upgrade. I, without fail, meet twice as many women in the Spring than in the Winter, and tend to leave a better impression given my elevated mood.
4. My upcoming raise. I deserve it, damnit. Pay off the last of my looming credit card debt, getting my travel on, hell, just getting my eat on... it's been sooo long since I've been on a sushi binge. Get that meat high, mmm mmmmmm.
Sooo, what are you looking forward to in the Spring?
