One of my vices is stealing signs. Two I've been eyeing are "Please do not dump snow on this side of lot" as well as "Parking for Girl Scouts only"
For now, I'm going to steal some stuff from the most recent journals of my favorite SGs that make me happy:
"when i wake up and i can breathe without smelling dirt, i am strangely disappointed. "
How true it is. Soon we will both be home in BRC. I promise.
"last time amused: i'm always amused."
I sure don't like most people, but that doesn't mean they can't be there for my amusement.
"Mr. Peterson's new favourite snack is icicles. That wouldn't ordinarily be too messy, but I let him bring them in the house."
I don't necessarily make a mess with them, but after having my tonsils out at 18, I pray to the popsicle god. Them are good shits.
"I woke up and it was beautiful and hot outside."
It has been so nice the last few days it has been hard to go back to woik. I just lounged in the sun on Wednesday, and Thursday I just kinda strolled around on campus with my friend. I work all the time, but I can take a two or three hour lunch as long as I keep up with what I need to get done.
"anyway I will be attending the Motor City Tattoo Convention in detroit...yeah motor city, im smart,"
As much as I hate Detroit, it sure gives you perspective. I mean, I was close, not in the ghetto by any means, although I did have some friends who lived in places the cops didn't really go right after high school. I mean, I'm not afraid of any of the pansy neighborhoods here in Denver. And I understand the real meaning of inclement weather. and Arson. and Poverty. I think, however, the best thing that describes my naivete after leaving there is I had no idea that Devil's Night wasn't a national thing, or any kind of problem really. In D-town there's a major curfew and at least one building is burnt to the ground.
I'll probably take something from my SG friends sometime soon, but y'all keep growin sooo fast (which rules btw). If I disappear for a short time, it's cause I'm having a good weekend. I hope y'all have one too
