Currently reading The Wise Heart by Jack Kornfield. Awesome book on Buddhist psychology and how to apply the best teaching to our Western society. Any other Buddhist recommendations out there?
Is it a bad idea to get set up on a blind date with a psychic? I feel that she may have a distinct advantage. I cannot take this psychic thing at all seriously, but don't want to offend her outright, its worth a try over coffee at least.

In an attempt to restore some good karma in my life I went to Costco and bought $70 worth of food and took it to the local veteran's food bank. I hate going to Costco, but I felt good about the donation, hopefully things turn around on this end.

My sister & her husband are visiting me for the weekend from CT. We went to Hollywood today tomorrow Venice Beach. Its overcast and drizzled some this morning
