End of term/undergrad haiku:

School will never die.
Where did my pencil go to?
I need more coffee.

Have you noticed the homogeneity of un-uniformity that has been happening lately? Everyone is an individual;

everyone has a funny wool sweater that looks like it is from the seventies,

everyone listens to Neil Young, Bob Dylan and other folk singers because they are rightous, but they never explain the how's and why's of this designation.

everyone looks like they stepped out of an indie-boys...

Thanks, I am feeling quite better.

It is weird being older, time seems like it goes too damn quick.

In no time, 30 will kick us in the ass.

So here I am in Moncton.

Everyone I know either has kids, are gone away, are on drugs, a few are dead, and the rest are MIA.... No parties, nothing!

So what does a man in my position do?

Why go to a coffee house and try to pick up of course!

So that's the plan, I'm going to the coffee house on Mountain road...

wooskie:
That's pretty much the extent of Moncton right there. At least in day time.
madcapkid:
That's probably why I disliked Moncton so much as a kid, I didn't go to coffee houses, and so I had nothing to do whatsoever.

I guess the mall counts as an activity, but not really, that's an excercise in stupidity right there.

Geez, I can't wait for tomorrow, I haven't seen a good show in four months

Uh uh oh taking retards to the zoo --Oh I love the Dead Milkmen.

So school is out, and I'm free. It's been a fun experiment; I took a bunch of hardcore heavy workload courses, and did the least amount of work I could... now to wait for the marks.

Now for the holidaze, nothing to do except dodge my parents and relearn analytic geometry....

You are one of the few who can spell the name right! Yay!
I may be there on the 23rd...not sure yet...family gathering that day. Hrmmm...
But I want to oh so bad!

There is something satisfying about a nice cup of tea after mucking about with tensors and manifolds all night.

This is the year math has become so damn interesting and interweaved; each course overlaps each other. I've used category theory in Differential Geometry (DG) and DG in Category Theory, Number theory (REALLY) compliments cryptography, and then Java programming 1 helps both.

Math is everywhere, but...

GASP, I'm alive.... and I need more friends on this thing...

Here's a lesson to all you kids; do not fuck with four graduate level courses in mathematics. Especially when they consist of Differential geometry, Category Theory, Number theory, and cryptography. They will take your social life, rip it in pieces, and then tell you you're stupid.

I haven't been able to read a book,...

And by listen I meant lesson... how could I fuck that up?

Stupid comment thingie tricking me.

I'm trying to learn Category Theory over the summer, I don't think I'll ever have a life.

At least I'll be ready for grad school, because for fuck sakes I'd like to have some freedom sooner or later.

Well, back to work.

padme:
Some people are driven, as they say. Good luck.
certhas:
Category theory is pretty.

Well I figure I'd use this, even if I have no friends yet, just so I can vent my frustration.

Have you ever done something, and practiced a lot and still suck at it?

That's where I'm at right now, I'm trying to teach myself something out of a DE textbook and I just can't do it.

It's frustrating, and I broke the textbook...
l_f:
Hmmm... What topic in DEs, more precisely?

Cheers.
madcapkid:
Well at the time it was using taylor series to solve DE's but it's like programming code, one small mistake ruins the solution.

I've finished the course now, it was only three weeks yet contained all of a normal term's material.

All I have to say is applied math is fascinating, but way too much calculation.
