Perhaps I'm just not sophisticated enough, but I thought Coffee and Cigarettes was just unbearably pretentious. I kept hoping that each vignette would be the last. Granted, there were a few vaguely interesting ones, like the Iggy Pop/Tom Waits one, or the Cate Blanchette/Cate Blanchette, or the Alfred Molina/Steve Coogan one. Other than that? Absolute drivel. Horrendously boring.
Land of the Dead, on the other hand...now, that's a movie I could sink my teeth into. Faaaan-tastic.
