I read 120 books!!! (last year was only 103). Here's the stats!!!!

* 121 books = 1 book every 3 days
* 35,733 pages = 97 pages per day
* 44 books were FREE from publishers
* 32 were for book clubs (I'm in 5)
* 16 were audio-books (over 200 hours)
* 7 published book reviews this year

I don't know if I would personally count the audio-books as reading (but that's a-whole-nother discussion), but it's still a very impressive number.

Audiobooks are waaay worse than books. I can read a book a lot faster than listening to it, personally I never listened to audiobooks until the Library Journal offered to give them to me free for review. But I see where you're coming from @johnnydiscard. What goals did you set for yourself this year?

It took me a long time to get into this book. A LONG time. I twas beautifully written and crafted but I didn't start caring until the last 100 pages of the book.

That's the problem with ensemble storytelling in general, for me at least. When it works, it can be amazing. But setting up that many stories takes a lot of time.

The stories surrounding it were definitely more interesting, and @johnnydiscard I totally agree with you. When it's done right, ensemble storytelling can be awesome, I'm sad it didn't come together in this book.
