90g (1/2 cup / 3 oz) sugar
2 packs/cubes of yeast (here 1 pack is usually for 500g/2lbs of flour)
2 little packs of vanilla sugar (they're like 1 or 1 1/2 tbs each here)
2 tbs vegetable oil
a pinch of salt
150g (1 cup / 5 1/2 oz) raisins
warm water
Mix everything but the raisins. Add as much water as you need to get a nice yeast dough that is not sticky. Knead most of the raisins into the dough. Let rise (I always cover it with a cloth and put it in the oven at the lowest temperature possible, just to get it into a cozy and warm environment) for half an hour. Fill into a loaf pan. Sprinkle left over raisins on top. Let rise for another 15 minutes. Bake at 320F for 40 minutes.
