so here are 10 things i learned on my trip....

1. the number of times i have to answer a phone is directly proportional to my stress level... silence is golden

2. new mexico is too big, too ugly and always in the fuckin way... land of enchantment my ass

3. just because you can see the rockies, doesn't mean you're almost to denver

4. in the denver burbs... there can be mile after mile of new housing development and yet no gas stations.. wtf

5. driving from a perfectly sunny day towards possible tornadoes means you really love your family

6. you quickly say why even look out for tornadoes when you realize your saturn has no chance of outrunning them

7. in a really small town you don't even need an address to find a business... just go to the one main street, drive up and down for 15 seconds til you see the one building that is not boarded up..

8. listening to tunes on trips makes the miles go slower... listening to religious radio makes the miles go backwards...

9. america's heartland is code for " many dead bugs on windshield "

10. my mom enjoys her some johnny cash
