Okay, Okay, Okay...
I have been busy what with taking a few days off to commune with family up north...and thn I come back to business as usual...with a twist...I have been accepted as a participant in this years Boonville Beer Festval in Mendocino county...YAY!!!!...and now thw work begins,,,figuring out how to get 4 kegs of beer, camping crap and myself 3 hours up the road without a vehicle....Hmmmmm...
I think I have it covered but you know how well laid plans can go...It is very exciting for me...I went last year as a guest and camped out with all the other brewers and had a little too much fun...BUT, didn't have to get up early to set up a beer station..This year, it will be me rolling out of a sleeping bag at 8a.m. to go get my beer from storage, truck it over to the fairgrounds and set up my area...along with 65 other breweries...The first hour before the pubic opening is for Brewers only to taste the competition and to get into the Beer-Frame-Of_Mind...
It will be hot and possibly dusty but it only lasts for 4-5 hours and then back to the many brewer campfires to eat and drink and tell stories about each other...
This is about as much as I can think to say about all of this now, it is still a bit of a shock and it does compress my time for work this week as well...I am supposed to meet my ride Friday morning...so Thursday will be my deadline for all things work and future fun...
I will make another attempt to put all of this into perspective soon I hope..until then...Stay Thirsty My Friends...
