Does anybody else not feel in control of their own lives?

I just lost my job and was planning on moving but then I seemed to snag another in the same area. I'm not complaining because a job in this market is very much needed, but...I don't know. There's just something unnerving about making plans and things happening that aren't in them. That's life, I suppose.
