Isn't it funny how when we are kids we are carefree and fun-loving, and when we grow up we work all our frikkin lives, for 30, 40, 50 years, until we can finally retire and be care free and fun loving.....Today was a great day for me. I went to the movies, sat around the house in San Deigo, played with my dogs, drank beer, watched the hawks soar in the blue, cloudy sky, talked at legenth with my best friend, talked to a girl Im sweet on, had a nice drive, witnessed a sunset and came back to L.a. to find a note on my door from a cute downstairs neibhor girl. How quickly we forget that it is those in between moments and the realization that you are living that really make memories. Work and worry can shove it...for another few hours at least. Although now I am alone and typing this, now is when I miss my wife the most. Which is funny, because I haven't ever been married.....hmmmm......how meloncholy...and how sweet.....sigh.....red sky...I like those...
