Hi there
I've been away for a long time now, just checking in to see the new photosets (many of those were wonderful lately).
If you're wondering what I've been doing offline, here goes some photos to illustrate.
So, here I was, as high and happier as I could be, in the new year's day (night?).
My wife took some great pictures of what would be one of the most beautiful and special dawnings I've ever seen.
Of course, it would rain on the next day. But for the time being, it was spectacular.
I invited Theddy, one of the amazing people I met in that house from the new year, to spin with me at "A Maldita", for a venue I had there in Jan 16th. It was one of the best nights I have ever had.
And this is another house, where I spent the last three weekends. This pic was taken around 7am, after a long, long party we named "friday night barbecuers" (sic).
Speaking of which, someone had the brilliant idea of tossing the rest of the popcorn in the fire. Well, those flames would have turned any piece of meat into coal, but luckily it didn't... and hey, it made a great visual effect!
We were luckier with the pizza. Don Gordeto is a genius modern rock DJ and superb as a pizzaiolo. Several of those beauties (as the one pictured below), with different toppings, would come out of the oven at a speedy pace. The oven was the kind that used timber as fuel which name in english I can't recall. Whatever... please, get me a spare stomach!!
Most of the time we were listening to very loud music, playing cards and getting high, but none of those photos were kind enough to the people pictured in it, so here goes a nicer though not representative one...
And now, for the precious "before-after" moment. This one was taken less than a second before the glass fiber bench dive in the pool. Of course, it wasn't a result of the bench's free will...
Most likely, several days and nights of booze and stuff had something to do with that... hey, is that the day dawning... again??
The "after" moment: the daylight always gives one a chance to review the result of all the haste of the night before and reach some sort of conclusion. Well, in this case, I think I would have done everything all over again. And in fact, we did
Hope you enjoyed seeing what have I been doing offline. You see, sometimes it's worth being away from the internet... but you can call me back anytime there's a new photoset as Lauren's or Aaraa's
