THE LAST DAYS OF LIMBO
Today I learned two things about the Limbo.
One is that the Limbo, in fact, is the name for the place babies go if they die before being baptized.
I thought it was some place similar the purgatory, but the Limbo is a place for people who neither deserve heaven nor hell. I suppose this is because they didn't have the time to sin, so it only would be applied to babies.
The second learning of the day is that Ratzinger, aka Benedictus XVI, wants to shut down the Limbo. Joseph Ratzinger was in charge of that agenda before the former Pope deceased, when he was the head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, formerly known as The Sacred Congregation of the Universal Inquisition.
The thing is that Ratzinger and his predecessor Vojtyla consider that the Limbo is no longer an adequate description for the dead inocent babies.
I'm quite sure this has to do with their policy on abortion. It's not clear whether they're talking about born babies or it includes the offspring in the mother's womb. The fact that they condemn abortion under the argument that the offspring would be considered to have a soul after a few months of pregnancy is a big clue as to where they're taking this matter.
A big step in the history of Darkness is on the way.
