I hope I'm doing this right. Still getting used to the site.
Since this is my first post, a bit of history is in order. A few months back, I decided to back into art. I had taken a break from it for probably 6 years or so.
One of the first pictures I did when I got back into it was a picture of waikiki
I did a few other pieces but my main focus is people/figure type drawing. Combine that with my enjoyment of pinpup art, and SG was a good fit to find willing people to allow me to use some of their more personal pictures.
I try to ask permission from people before I take them. So far I've gotten permission from Leandra, gogo, QueenMabb, HelenJade and I suppose RiverSong (if you count my offer to draw the lingerie yoga once QueenMabb posts the pictures).
It's taken me longer to get some of them done than I would have liked, but I have had various study and smaller pieces done.
Milloux didn't give me permission, but I sketched this from a pic she posted on reddit:
For Leandra's pic, I wanted to combine watercolor with colored pencil or pastels to use that great purple color she often has in her hair. This was a study piece I did to find out the papers I had were complete shit for this type of work. I have gotten more papers to test out so expect more study pieces.
And last but not least, this was a graphite portrait I did of QueenMabb over the Holiday since I didn't have anything more than pencils along with me. I think it turned out alright, but doesn't do her justice.
For the most part, the girls I've approached have been incredibly supportive and have put up with my harassment. I appreciate that.
Since I'm new to the site, I'm still looking for people to interact with. Both other artists and also people who would be willing to be a subject of either gender, size, shape or color. I just enjoy figure drawing, but the pinup stuff does tend to get me a bit more attention. Let me know what you think and I hope this journey ends up being an enjoyable one.
Cheers.
Edit: apparently my way of adding in the pictures didn't exactly work out like I had hoped. I hope to figure out the tips and tricks to make this better in the future.
Edit 2: Reuploaded images as attachments to try and fix the issue.

@alienne Yeah, that's one of my favorites too. I actually have it signed by @milloux now so it's even better :)
