I've been running a fair bit lately. I've finally gotten around all the injuries, etc... and it feels good to be building up the physical endurance. It helps me focus, keeps my mind sharp. Some people meditate. When my body lets me, I like to run. Nothing impressive like halfs or marathons but good solid runs. No cell phone. No email. No internet. It clears the mind. It's also exhausting and it's rewarding to pushing yourself physically. There's something very profound that comes from being that tired.
For me, being able to run consistently really just amounts to a bit of good news at the tail end of 2008. I'm curious to see how 2009 will unfold...
