HOLY CRAP!!! I SUCK!
Well, like I said last time, life is crazy busy right now, and has not showed any signs of slowing down. Mainly its been work thats keeping me occupied, though the next week is full of fun stuff going down.
Tomorrow night I'm going to what is reported to be the "final" George A. Romero flick: "Land of the Dead", with a bunch of the other Calgary SGer's. I LOVE ZOMBIE FILMS!!!! I've been obsessed with the sub genre of zombie films for about a year now. Romero's films especially. They've acted as a vehicle for all sorts of social commentary, and apparently this one has all sorts of comments about 9/11 and the terrorists and the war in iraq...so it should be good. Beyond the fact that I'm going to be all creeped out for possibly going to Kink afterward. And I FINALLY get to meet some of the calgary crew. So it should kick ass
Sunday I've heard that the Plaid Tongue Devils are playing at devonian gardens...but have no idea when during the day. I'd imagine it'd be in the afternoon sometime, since I don't believe Devonian is open in the evenings...if anyone knows anything about the show couldya message me?
Wednesday night I'm going to Slaughterhouse again, which should be absolutely incredible...ANYONE OUT THERE IN CALGARY SHOULD GO!!!! Kick ass dark industrial, super gothic stuff...9pm at the Crazy Horse on 1st st. in calgary on wednesday.
And then of course there is canada day...I work the day shift but hope to be able to go to the apparently legendary SG Canada Day Bash that night...which would kick ass, since I don't work till close on saturday...mmm, drunken celebratory revelling...
So yeah, that's life in a nutshell right now. Just a question, for anyone who reads this...any of the calgary folk: do any of you know web designers who might be willing to help Kaptain Kadaver and myself with a project? We can't (at the moment) pay in money, but perhaps some type of exchange could be worked...yeah, anyways...
