It's fascinating how certain people influence our lives. I don't think I ever met anyone specific who spurred me on at school, though I thank my history teachers for believeing in me - if they hadn't, I wouldn't have the degrees I am proud to own.

I don't know about the afterlife. But the best way to honor someone who impacted you is to try to impact others in the same way, which it sounds like you're already doing. If he is watching down, then he knows and I'm sure he's proud. If not, then it doesn't matter and all you have is what's here, so make the most of it and pay it forward. Which, again, you're already doing. So I don't think you have anything to worry about.
I have a bass, but I don't really think I'd call what I do "playing" it. I'd like to take lessons some day, when I have the time/money.

Yeah, I took another day off work. I was gonna go in this morning but Jen stopped me and made me stay at home. Glad she did 'cause I'm still not right.
Looks like Jen and 'Bel have caught what I have too. We're thinking about boarding up the front door and painting a big black cross on it.

LOL yeah i can talk to legs off of a donky given half the chance, i think its got something to do with the fact that i didnt see anyone for close to four years and still spend a lot of my time alone, i'm always looking for a good conversation
yeah VW's arent the most reliable unless they are like new, i drove my first one to the south of france and back a few years ago so they can do it you just need to go at there pace
my sergestion is get a cheap bus and keep it as a summer toy

it's not all gona be play while i'm there though I've arranged to do some ghost shaping for a couple of guys there in exchange for some tuition in the art, the better i get at shaping the sooner i can open my own shop once my degree is over
plus the guys ill be working with are pretty well known in the shaping world so having there names on my CV will open a few more foor for me
