What is this F-lock? It's a button that locks your F1-F12 keys in that F mode. Modern PC users are so lame and so lazy that they need single buttons to execute shortcuts like ctrl+v or ctrl+x. Why is this such a problem? Because I can't tell my machine to set f-lock to enabled at boot..and when I'm on the phone with a client and hit F7 to bring up their account information, it starts foobar back to playing my loud-ass music. Crowbar, today. Incidentally, the user hung up because they thought it was line noise..but other days, I've not been as lucky.
