I didn't get to see Brokeback Mountain. This severely upsets me. There are no theatres around here playing it! So I checked OK, since I'll be flying out this Thursday, and NO! God is against me on this. I was so excited to see it! Poop.

In good news, Mike and I opened our presents from each other. He got me one of my favorite carvings from the great Mexican lady in the French Market. Its a big lizard. Plus yet another copy of Type O Negative - October Rust. I've owned the album 3 times now, and I love it so much, but I'm forever losing the shit. So yay! I got him the Deep Impact DVD (stupid Homestar Runner joke) which he traded in and we bought a dvd player. I also got him a Decemberists CD and Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer. Because I rock. He has more waiting in Oklahoma, because I spoil him every year since no one else does and my family is known to shower me with far too many gifts. Lando got to look in her stocking, which she has been trying to get at for a week. She loved her rawhide candy canes and stocking, and she got some Greenies, too! (yeah, I'm such a mother, I put up some pictures of that, too)

I made chocolate chip cookies for my landlords tonight. I ate much cookie dough. This is why I always substitute apple sauce for the eggs. So I can eat far too much of it without food poisoning or that gross aftertaste the eggs give it.
