So, yeah. Eeep.
I'm hoping to go out tonight and meet some people while trying to find the area's best margarita. This is something that is new to me. I dont go out much. I meet people even less. I want to, but I'm not that interested in many people I see. One of my flaws when I go out is that I judge people too quickly by the way they dress and look; the complete antethesis of what I want to do socially and the opposite of how I live my life normally.
I usually end up drinking and if no one talks to me for a half hour I wish I'd stayed home and looked at new computers. Nothing against new computers, but in this context I think that's kinda bad.
How many of you out there think you're too in the middle of everything? Not too punk but not too corporate? Not too Prudish but not too perverted? Not enough of something to relate to one side but not enough of the other to belong there? Thats usually where I fall. And fail.
I'd love to go out to a place where you just sit down and have a listening party. Not just for an album release but for pleasure. I don't have places like that out here. There's only "drink beer!" or "Dance!" places. There's no place of my own out there.
Goodnight Mrs. Kalabash, where ever you are.
