I must be moving out of my newbie-ism, but is anyone else out there a little intimidated talking to SG's?
I am. Not because their SG's Per-se, but because these are dynamic, original, sometimes outrageous girls. All with their own lives which give them grief and Joy and don't always lend themselves out to humor a Geek from PA when he introduces himself and has some random and possibly boring thing to say.
Just a thought.
Also,
ANYBODY WHO HAS TATOOS READING THIS!!!
Tell me about your tats. I'm now in the process of getting >MY< first and, co-incidentally, most important body mod. I'm looking for a Designer and an artist. I have the idea fully formulated in my head and it's a doozy money and workwise, but I am, as all Newbs are, completely clueless as to timeframe of work, of money, of everything!
The most important things for me in this right now are:
The Right Artist
Meaning I dont care how far I have to travel or pay. Yet.
The who's and why's and what's I need to know.
I need to know what I should look for in the studio, the Danger signs of badness... things like that. Help!
If you have a second, please let me know about your experiences, stories welcome! Thanks!

Well, as for my half sleeve... it took a total of around 14 hours, I may have lost count a little bit, but around 14 hours. I can only sit for 2 hours at a time, because I have hyper-sensitive skin and it gets to the point when it won't take ink, and there's no use in pounding the ink in because it's more painful and doesn't look as good... so anyway, it took about 7 sittings, over the course of a year and a half. I'm poor, so it took a little longer than I would have liked, hah...
Also, under my arm, you couldn't PAY ME to go through that pain again. When I get my other arm tattooed, and have to do underneath it (yeah I'm going to sleeve out my arms ) I am only sitting for like a half hour, at most. My arm was swollen for three days after that got done. And I'm not saying everyone is like that, but since I'm so sensitive, it definitely sucked for me.
AND, I wanted to say, if you can get Twwly to tell you where she gets her tattoos, I think she's in PA... and she has some great work done on her. Good luck. First tattoos are always so exciting, and every subsequent one is still as exciting. I love them!
