Ya know.... this had to be one of the weirdest weeks i've ever had.
Tuesday I got new glasses. Real cute, but not really effective. the curve of the lenses make it hard to focus and puts my driving and walking skills out of whack. Of course those are my two favorite things to do that dont involve TV or alcohol.
My car got hit thursday. I wasn't in it and it's just a dent in the rear driver's side door but still I got hit. The guy came in and 'fessed up & gave his info on the spot, so that's a plus, but he then said he didn't want to go through the insurance companies. No problem, but when i call him later tonight to figure out how to do that... he's too busy to come to the phone. Sorry buddy but you're gone.
Friday I pulled an 18 hour day. I learned alot and became alot more confident at the job, but basically they put it on me at the end of the night that they would not train me anymore unless I asked for it. Kind of a good thing but not exactly because when you're busy rushing around doing all sorts of other stuff for them. I'll just have to play around.
They also KILLED MY RADIO STATION on friday. They took Y100 off the air so that they can put the worst hip-pop station in philly on a frequency with stronger signal. BULL-SHIT. It's going to be alot more difficult to know what bands are playing where now and to disover new bands. Just another reason to get an MP3 player.
Alright Geek Bretheren, give me some suggestions on good bands to buy/download.
I may be going out of state to see a friends band play tonight, so if anything good happens I'll report.
