simply put, I'm tired.

I put a review in for ign's anime review board. If they like it I will be a freelance writer for them. I wrote about Godannar vol. 2 simply because it's the latest edition to my collection.

I actually slept for an hour at work today. I feel so guilty, but at the same time, when there's nothing to do can you blame someone with their own office to take advantage of the situation? Don't worry journal, I'm sure others will make up for my narcolepsy later in the month. Count on it.

My dad turned 57 today. I got him a wireless laser mouse that right now he's having a hell of a time trying to get it to work. I fought alot through my teens wanting to do something different so that I wouldn't end up like him, now I see that maybe doing that wouldn't be such a bad thing... along with a few piercings and tatoos of course. Happy Birthday Dad.

I don't know why, but I feel that I'm not making the most of life right now. I really want to, but I have no clue as to how. I think honestly it's time for me to move out on my own and do some things that I want instead of being beholden to someone else. I feel so old and so immature at the same time.

A few random observations
-it's time to get a new profile pic.
-I need to sell some old movies off
-I need to burn some mpeg's off the hard drive.
-consequently, I need an external drive too.
-I can't believe it, but I'm a fan of musicals.
-I'm thinking of getting my fortune read
-funny word: Zimbabwe (do they wear rubber pants in Zimbabwe?)
-Apple is slowly taking over the universe
-my dog is cute and warm, but not friendly all the time.
-need caramel apple cider. Baaaaadly.

A question for you, the reader:
What movie did you think you'd hate but turned out you liked almost way too much?
Takashi Miike's Audition. I just wanted to see the last half hour of the film, but I was suprised by just how innocent and funny the first hour was, then boom, fragile little girl goes nutbar. Also used my favorite quiet instrument of death, a piano wire and then throws the amputated foot against the wall like she was thinking "eh, unimportant meat, lets get to the evil acupuncture". Burrr (shudder).
