I called my midwife first thing this morning because I was still feeling crummy, despite four days of rest. She figures it's a whole bunch of things happening at once, and gave me a list of items to relieve my various aches and pains. My absolutely wonderful husband went to the pharmacy, and spent $70 (
) getting all this stuff for me. So now I'm bathed, lotioned, Tylenol'd and have had a yummy homemade pasta dinner. I feel much better! I think the only thing left for me to do is to make a mug of cocoa.
We're at the climax of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for my daughter's bedtime story. I don't cry (usually) the first time I read something, but this was the second read-through, and when I read aloud, I read with emotion. I almost lost it during Blood, Flesh and Bone ... I will for sure later on. I guess it's harder for me to read the second time around because I understand the full context of what's going on.
My cats are having a washing orgy on the couch beside me. It's kind of disturbing.

Now I'm craving cocoa. The final book did me in...I was so bummed out at the various bad things. So wish they hadn't moved the next movie to next year...it would have been out this month!

I've not heard of it. I'll go look it up. I've had some people recommend David Eddings, and I've always wanted to read The Riftwar Saga from Feist. I still have two Salvatore books I need to pick up. I need to hit the lottery so I can read more lol.
