We spent the day at Word on the Street, the annual book festival. I love it so much! I signed up for a quarterly French book service (with my daughter in mind, as we'd like to send her to French immersion when the time comes). I also found a mini version of The Paper Bag Princess, just lying on the ground. Poor book! We've already got a copy, so we'll find a home for it.
Dinner tonight was the rest of last night's lasagna. Damn, I make good lasagna!
I caved in and bought new shoes. Ones with support and cushy soles (as opposed to my bare-bones ballet-style slippers). So my feet wouldn't hurt now, except for the part at the back where it's rubbing into my heel, giving me blisters!
$110 shoes and they hurt anyway! I know this isn't a lot for shoes for some people, but damnit, I don't like spending more than $40, usually.
