"A woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water." - Eleanor Roosevelt
The older I get the more I realise that I don't know anything. Or rather, how much there is out there for me to learn. My view of the universe expands much more quickly than my understanding of it. University opened my eyes so much. Adopting my niece has been eye-opening, as well, but in a completely different direction. It's a wonder that the elderly have any patience with the young at all. What a shame that our society turns away from those with so much to offer.
And now for something completely different.

Supporting your point, here is something I tell the grad students: With each degree, I used to think I knew more and more. After my latest one, I gradually noticed that, the more I learn, the "much muuuuch more" is what I realize that I do not know (and, sometimes, did not even know it existed.)
Is that an octopus in your ass, or do you love me?
Sadist, huh? And how have you been?
Cheers,
LF
