Drinking a Guinness on an almost empty stomach makes for a very tipsy Lycoris. Ye gods, I'm such a cheap drunk! In fact, I just had to correct the spelling of drunk. Ok, twice now. That's so sad. Guinness is only 4.2% fer cryin' out loud!! But all I've had to eat today is a cheese bun, for several reasons.

Happy Half Price Chocolate Day, everyone!! I got my sweetie a heart-shaped gingerbread cookie that said "love you" in red icing. Ain't bargain-hunting grand??

The stretchers I got for my ears last week were too big, so I went and got different ones today. Not exactly stretchers, just horseshoe type earrings that are a size larger than the ones I was wearing. They feel cool ... I like making them swing back and forth. I'm so easily amused! But this whole upguaging thing is going to end up costing me a lot of money. Buy a pair, wear them for a week or two, discard for a new pair. Oh well.
