What a week it's been! My family is in town, which of course keeps me off the computer and away from lovely naked Suicide Girls. They brought us a new armchair and the kitten has gone insane. He's using it as a launching pad for all his attacks upon the other cats. He's also been loosing his baby teeth, which I've been finding around the apartment. I don't think there's a kitty tooth fairy, though.
Yesterday I found the Labyrinth in Trinity Square Park. Though it's now paved and not made of grass, as it is in the photos, it's still very very cool. I've been wanting to walk a labyrinth ever since I found out about them via a friend in California. My sister and I joined a few other people who were walking it, and others kept coming as we walked. It was a really nice experience. I'd like to get a group of people together to walk it sometime.
We took advantage of Winterlicious and had dinner at the Summit House Grill. I had the steak, "Chicago style" ... delicious. All crispy on the outside and bloody on the inside. I could go for another right now. The best part was embarrassing my husband at the end with a brownie with a candle stuck in it and the waiters singing "Happy Birthday" and the tiny bottle of champagne! Since he doesn't like champagne, I got to drink it. It worked out for everyone!
