Many positive changes are afoot; things are going very well for myself and those I care about. I can only think of trivial, material ways in which I'd choose to improve my life at this moment. (Bigger apartment, more spending money, things like that.) I know I don't need those things, though. Everything's exactly how it should be. I have faith (yes, faith) in the Divine and in the world that I will be carried where I need to go, to meet those I need to meet, and to experience what I need to experience.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, a glass of wine in one hand and a chocolate in the other, loudly proclaiming: "Woohoo! What a ride!"
I think it's intensely ironic that religion has been cited as a reason against homosexuality and for polygamy. If Canada starts legalizing polygamous marriages (and that would mean both polyandric and polygynic unions, mwahaha), I think people will be surprised at the amount of non-Mormon and non-Muslim poly folks out there.

I can think of a lot of poly folks...like, polyamorous, right? And that could be a whole lot of fun...
