I went for a swanky afternoon tea at Zoe's in the Chateau Laurier today and was surprisingly dissapointed. I've had afternoon tea at a bunch of places now, and the best has been all the way out in Etobicoke (The Victorian Garden Tea Room). Better food, better tea, and half the price of a lot of those fancy tea rooms in hotels. It would be a really romantic and different place to take someone on a date, if you're into that kind of thing.
It's odd ... my perfect date right now would be tea followed by shopping. By shopping I mean hitting the sex shops (Come As You Are, Northbound Leather, and there's a new one in Kensington Market). And then going out that night to a fet party. Pancakes made from scratch the next morning with real maple syrop. Mmm, pancakes.

here is mine right now:
My girl (!) and I wake up, make brekfest. She studies for a few hours, I write. We have an early dinner, then take the dog out for a long walk. We come home, we have a glass of wine and suddenly my house becomes an all night sex show, with me as the Lead Freak and (!) as the Coy Vicitime. Crash out with more wine and a Season 4 Red Dwarf.
now THATS entertainment.
Hope all is well. Want to be SG friends?
take it light,
