I was just in arizona and while my friend hiked down a steep canyon I stayed on top and took pictures with her expensive camera... I love the idea of taking pictures of nature with people in them but with the people not being used as the subject-- and I agree, there is something magnif. about immortilizing nature.

as for the paintings, La Belle Dame Sans Merci is a lovely piece.... both Waterhouse and Dicksie. I do think i prefre waterhouse though.
A painting that reminded me of you last night though was Burning June by Leighton. It is among my favorites.
So when a girl spends so much time with you, I am sure you are left to wonder, and the degree to which that is done depends largely on how that time was spent.
Poor spinning head.... like a carousel.
And I would love to hear about how manifest destiny has become habitual.
