I am no longer there, but my visit to Houston with work was a fun trip.
I got to visit a friend who works at one of the local theatres and he gave me a tour of their scene shop facilities. It reminded me how much I enjoy building scenery, but for now I will continue touring as a lighting technician. I grabbed a photo looking towards downtown from the aquarium:
and I grabbed a photo of some Lions at the Zoo:
and some assorted photos of fish and display areas at the aquarium:
I love the way that rays move through the water and against the glass. I really wish that I could have seen one in person while I was scuba diving in the Dominican Republic. That's one of the animals that I really want to see out in the wild, but probably from more of a distance and certainly not while it's backed into a corner.
I'm on a whirlwind set of work and travel this week and next as we finish Lafayette, LA, move to Bossier City, LA for two days of shows, and then to Little Rock, AR for two days of shows before the big transfer to Montreal, Canada. It's hard work, but it's what I love to do. I hope everyone is staying safe and having fun!!
