Wow, the last couple days have been so long, but flown by so quickly. I'm settling into the new job and by the time I'm mostly settled next week, I'll be starting to think about going home for two weeks. They're almost at tour break and they are flying me home to CT for the break and then back out to continue work. This week we're playing a city just outside of Dallas and next week we'll be playing Indianapolis, IN.
I've had a great couple of days at work where I've been challenged and have learned some new things. My new work station during the shows is around 40' over the audiences head with a big hot light between my legs. I'm wondering when I'll get tired of watching the show, but hopefully it won't be very soon. The new company cares about their employees and they've provided me with more catered food than I possibly need to be eatting, so I haven't been hungry very much except when I forgot to eat one day while working and filling out paperwork and such. They also cared enough to have a continuing education type class for all of us yesterday, which was 6 hours long. I'm not complaining at all that a company is willing to pay me my hourly wages while I sit in a class and gather more and more knowledge. I will also be getting into even better physical shape because I have to climb to my spotlight at least once a day and the ladder is made out of pipe and wire rope, so it swings around as I climb, which adds some excitement!!
They also provided me this room in the hotel this week:
and I got a new piece of luggage. I had the smaller bag, but I bought him a big brother:
I just signed a lease for my new apartment with my brother. We're moving to Boulder, CO and I'm really excited about having a place that's mine again, but I'm not looking forward to my intense two weeks of reorganizing and weeding stuff out of my storage unit that has been filled for four years.
I'm having a great time meeting all these new faces on tour that I'll be working with and drinking with on this tour. I can't remember half the names I've been introduced to, but it will happen with time. Well, I need to go run a couple small errands before work today, but I will leave everyone with a picture of some gorgeous and sexy curves.

YUM. jealous of that burrito! I'm glad the new job is working out well! I feel your pain about moving. Looking at my rom right now and just thinking about trying to fit all this shit in boxes and haul it across the bay bridge is making me nauseous!
