Jonesboro, AR - The circus arrived last night among storms in Jonesboro at the Arkansas State University campus. It's when we arrive in storms or load everything up in the rain that I silently remind myself how wonderful it is that the show is now playing in Arenas. It means that we don't need to set-up a tent in the rain, however, we still have to set-up a generator and lot power distribution for all of the house trailers. I'm usually lucky enough that one of the electricians that I supervise arrives on the lot before I do and does most of our electrical work before I arrive and I am very thankful for that huge accomplishment.
I mentioned that I bought Muse - The Resistance after receiving suggestions from Avenall and Moonlil and I wanted to take a minute to thank them for their suggestion. I'm not a really great listener to music as it often drifts to the background for me while I'm working or playing, but I tried to consciously listen to the album so that I could appreciate the suggestion. I love the first couple of tracks because they have a huge energy to them and then I was completely surprised by the other various tracks as the band shows off their talents across multiple styles of music. The final 3 tracks of the album are a project where the band put together a more symphonic sound, which I found to be quite amazing. I've listened to those 3 tracks sequentially several times in a row as I really enjoy them.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the remainder of today as I'm now finishing up a load of laundry and I have the whole day off tomorrow to spend as well. I'm really looking forward to Wednesday. I knew there were plans to see Cirque Du Soleil's Alegria in Southhaven, MS, but I was just informed that the group of 10 of us is making a stop in Memphis, TN on the way to the show to make a full day's affair out of it. I'm now super excited as I'm sure we will find a fantastic lunch stop in Memphis!! Perhaps I will take some pictures to share with my new camera, which is submersible and resistant to damage from drops at less than 5 feet.

NO way! I love your blogs! I like that they are paragraphed for reader's comfort. Incredibly annoying when people don't paragraph their long-ass-shpiels. I'm so SO glad that you liked the album!! The symphonic songs were a really nice touch, I thought and really showcased their abilites!!
