I have discovered that when traveling with a company that brings along equipment to provide utilities that you need to be flexible. The travel plans from Asheville, NC to Indiana, PA were pretty well set out, but one truck driver made a terrible mistake. The bus that travels all of the company travel employees arrived on time for the pick up and made good time for the drop off, but the truck driver that was hauling all of the power distribution equipment decided to take an 8 hour nap. That meant that about 30 plus people arrived to the lot where the power was going to be setup with housing trailers and everyone had to sit in their trailers for about 8 hours before the equipment arrived and got setup. It wasn't a really big deal because the weather was reasonable, but the rain decided to start as I went out with my crew to setup all of the power equipment and all of us wound up very wet. Oh well, just part of traveling with a circus. Sometimes we don't get all of the ducks lined up the right way the first time. Everyone now has power and I'm inside in some dry clothes after several hours in damp clothes.
