Well, my internet connection was turned on last night, and I got my new wireless router and the DSL settings information today. This means that tonight I will have an Internet connection (albeit no web pages or anything set up at this time).

And wonderfully timed, I will be flying out of town tomorrow afternoon for short stay in DC to set up our office there. I'll be back late Saturday night (giving me some time to myself over in downtown DC!), and I have a lot to do tonight to get ready. Since the office is a bit of a showy office and in the heart of DC, I figured I better dress well...then I hear that our company president (someone I don't feel all that comfortable around anyway) will also be there...so now I have to do laundry and get things ready for dressing as good as I get (at least up to a jacketless suit). Who knows, maybe he'll take me out and we'll actually start bridging some of the gulf between us (although I doubt all of it, as we're just very different people...). And if he takes me out...I better dress well considering the scale he likes to lavish on others. O_o

So yeah, I'm back, but I'm not quite yet back.
