Hrm, our house is falling apart (house cum apartments). The washer is broke downstairs. Actually, I'd never know this except my roommate told me as she always washes her clothes down there. About eight months ago when it broke down the first time, I started taking my laundry to a laundromat, and have not stopped since. (let's see, about 3 loads every 2 weeks at $2.50 a load is $7.50 every 2 weeks, or about $195 bucks wasted a year.) Mostly this is due to our dryer taking 2.5 hours to dry one load...and while it was broken and free last year, lately it has been actually requiring money.
I turned on the shower this morning (oh wait, this afternoon) and before I even stepped in, I noticed the water pooling at the bottom. A little perturbed, I took a really quick shower, waited, and lo and behold the water is draining at a snail's pace. Great. It was just fine yesterday morning, and this morning it's clogged.
Oh well, I'm heading to the store anyway quick this morning (oh wait, this afternoon) so I guess I'll be cleaning a drain later. I seriously doubt this is my fault, as I have short hair and only shave the nethers in the shower...
