Ok, I am a fairly big movie buff...I love movies. Add to that a very deep interest in vampires and the mystique surrounding them...and you can probably guess that I am a big vampire movie freak. Yes, I usually buy vampire movies, good or bad (though less of the bad ones obviously).
Knowing all this, one can guess that I basically had a hard-on the entire time through UnderWorld, bought it the first day out on DVD, and have watched it and the special features at least once through (seen the movie three times since I bought it...).
Well, the first trailer is up for Van Helsing and I'm quite happy (yes, it looks like it might be cheesy and maybe akin to the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but this is no Interview with the Vampire movie here...). It looks like a fun movie which takes off on the character introduced in Bram Stoker's Dracula (the character played by Anthony Hopkins in the movie). Hugh Jackman is more than ok by my standards, and Kate Beckinsale is still a dream (I've loved her since Serendipity), so this looks like a very fun, very entertaining movie that is pretty much right up my alley.
bonus notes: My least favorite vampire movie ever has been From Dusk til Dawn (sorry, but the movie went from wildly awesome to wildly stupid in record time...I almost walked out, and I never walk out) followed closely by Vampire in Brooklyn (Eddie Murphy). My favorite vampire movies would be Interview with the Vampire, UnderWord, and Highlander (the first one, and yes it's not about vampires but hey, it's got the whole immortal thing going...). Surprisingly, I also liked Dracula 2000 quite a bit (shoot me). Favorite book would easily be The Vampire Lestat (burn the rest).

i honestly have no idea what fasting does for my body. i guess i should research it, being that i do it a lot. a lot of people (in countries that aren't fat like the US) fast for cultural reasons. for me it's probably just an extention of a past history of bulemia, but, honestly, it makes me feel physically better, being that i do it right after the menstral week. (TMI, but you asked) it tends to clear my skin and get rid of that last bit of bloating. I try to drink a lot of water anyway for the sake of my overall health. it's just something I do.
