I just wanted to say that the Underworld DVD features rock. I love the montage of funny scenes and other just random shots. It's great to see how things are made, but without the "orchestrated" "featurette" compositions.
The commentary rocks too, but, it's not so much for the explanations but...well....let me back up. The big black guy in the movie that plays a badass werewolf has this voice in the movie that I think everyone thinks is fake...and he happens to be a co-writer and on the commentary track. The guy's voice is freaking amazing....it literally sounds like rocks grinding. I wonder if that's natural or what causes it...it's amazingly deep, unearthly deep.
Of note, I love hearing little details. For instance, movies like The Matrix, and John Woo movies, and many others that have shooting scenes with actors with sunglasses...it's because the actors are blinking when they shoot those guns. Whereas sexy Kate Beckinsale goes without sunglasses and doesn't blink....awesome.
