I am a year older...you know, when you get past the landmark ages of 16 (driving permit), 17 (R movies), 18 (vote), and 21 (drinking age)...it actually seems to be hard to remember how many years old I really am. I've caught myself having to think what I am in the last few years...odd thoughts really...
I had a fairly productive day cleaning and doing errands while dodging the weekend drivers who seem to be both older than the weekday norm and also more idiotic as they very purposefully and narrow-mindedly go about their menial tasks...I wish I could blink and poof...the roads be empty for miles upon miles...alas, I have to keep my eye out for pushy and irritated human drivers...
...of more interesting things I accomplished this day, I got both cams into good position and not only turned them both on, but installed visionGS and hooked one up to SG (you can click on the "CAM: OFF" link in the upper left to see the last uploaded pic, which should currently be of my foot).
Both cams are showing completely crappy picture quality, but I honestly think that is due to the lighting in my room. My room is lit entirely by indirect lights, and soft ones at that, which kind of lend a soft orange glow to my room...japanese-style paper lamp on my desk, white christmas lights along the tops of my windows (but yet inside the room), track lighting over my bed that is actually pointed up to the walls and ceiling, and other lighting that points to walls as opposed to straight down or out. Other than that, the room is only otherwise lit by candlelight...
I think I need to shop for a direct light that I can shine towards myself and the cams when I want to be seen, and hopefully that will improve picture quality dramatically... Yes the lighting in my room rocks, but it is certainly not conducive to cam work.
PS: Thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Bday! A kiss for each of you!
