after three years,

i am suddenly single.

i have gotten into three different phD programs, one in atlanta.

so I'm moving to ATL! Alone!

25 yrs old, single, obviously beautiful (!), on my way to a doctorate:

fuckin' a, dude, my life is opening up.

while i feel scared, sad, and in love with my best friend with whom i have no future,

i am choosing instead to say

fuckin' a, dude, my life is opening up

no more blue-collar boyfriend...

my next man will be a fucking architect.

or a doctor.

a professional intellectual.
