so here's my long over due post with pictures from my trip.
we stayed just blocks from venice beach which was awesome cause we walked down to the beach every day. man to live that close would be awesome! the houses right along the beach were absolutely amazing! i want to be the upper crust haha.
i want to live in this house....

it was huge and cool...but this one was so pretty and secluded...

who am i kidding i would live in anything just blocks from the beach!
Venice was cool. I really liked it there.
the graffiti made me feel like i was back home...although we didn't have palm trees.


We got up early on Easter and went to the Getty right when they opened. we pretty much had the museum to ourselves it was soooo nice. when we were leaving it was starting to get busy and we missed the crowds, so nice
the Getty is such a pretty museum


the views and the garden were sweet.

the only bummer about the Getty was that the WEEGEE exhibit was gone and there was some exhibit full of colorado pictures I didn't want to see pictures of Longmont!!!! if we go back in June, there should be something new up. We def saw some really cool paintings though.

I think our fav part of the trip was renting crusier bikes on Monday and riding along the beach. we rode from Venice to Santa Monica and hung out in Santa Monica a bit. i always enjoy riding on the bike paths in boulder, but man riding on the beach...so cool.

Buggsy won me a curious george on the Santa Monica pier for my basket and the ride back




we played some games on Santa Monica pier and i think Buggsy felt like he should win because he's a boy...but I docked my boat first, he never docked, I kicked his ass!

There's some more pics in my folder of the LA trip. it was the best. i miss it. i want to move...

so my foot still hurts i've totally stayed off of it as much as possibe this weekend though. I've either been on crutches or riding those motorized lil carts around stores like target, the home depot and the grocery store haha. i felt like such an old lady! but it beats walking on crutches all over huge stores. So i guess i will get an x-ray tomorrow cause it still hurts to put weight on my foot. SUX!
