i've been umeboshi-ing it up as of late.

and no, that doesn't mean i've been eating japanese plums in large quantities.

umeboshi = sanding, priming, painting, staining floors, installing shelving, and for added fun tonight was a silver leafing extravaganza! joy of joys.

umeboshi is the love child of my dearest girl in the whole world and will soon be an amazingly fantastic shoe store. although it's consumed my life (& obviously hers) as well as most of my nearest loves and left me dead on my feet most of the time and crazier than usual - it's amazing seeing her realize her dream.

and hey, it's a bloody shoe store.

now if i can just figure out how to get rid of my flatmate so i can have his closetspace.....
