ugh after being locked out of my place for 12 hours and 90 bucks later...i'm in and can take a fucking shower!

seriously, always have a spare key, and awesome friends who will loan you money and let you sleep at their places. And who speak Korean. Don't know what I would have done otherwise...

well, i finally started teaching, and aside from not always knowing quite what to do it's actually pretty great! My students are awesome and I feel like after a few months I will have a good handle on this job. Would've been nice to get more training or get to see some other teachers in action but...you know. time concerns and all .

so in...

ah. i am irrationally, and surprisingly, a bit jealous.

i mean, you start having an affair with someone a week before you are moving far away, you can't really expect to have any sort of hold on each other, right? it's just a mutual fun sort of thing. but, she said she'd call me when she got home and she was hanging out with a...

I was on call yesterday for red cross again, and it was NUTS! I didn't get to do anything all day because I was so busy dealing with calls. Luckily around 9 or 10 it trickled to a stop, because I had some friends I hadn't seen in 3 years drop in unexpectedly and stay the night. It was so great to see them...I worked...

I love that quote too, and it's very relevant to my blog.

Sounds like you have some good friends and I'm glad to hear work is going well for you. Those are cute and fun pictures too!

I just had my first phone interview for Korea and it went great! I need to do some more research on the school, I've heard some bad things about the chain, but the person I talked to said they have 2 teachers who have taught there for 2 or 3 years, which is actually a pretty decent retention rate, and my recruiter said they've placed...

I'm not in The Hard Lessons - I work with them - at Quack Media.

*edited because I had some caps in there that I re-read and it sounded rude... this is not in a rude tone*
fauna:
I could do that. I wouldn't be there until later, like maybe 11. Saturdays work better for me.

my computer screen decided to die today frown i am borrowing my roommate's laptop while she is at work. but until i get it fixed i'll probably be MIA for a bit.
ohdang:
Booo. I hope it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.

I'm coming back to MI for sure. I kinda miss the place. Even though finding a job will be tough, I can at least blame the economy for sitting around, drinking, beach going and general laziness. If I had a job I wouldn't be drunk! That works, right?
