lustrous

I have been back and forth to the hospital the last few days, visiting my grandmother. She has been thru so much.. suffered so much.. She is one of the strongest women I know. When she was in her 20s, she gave her sister a kidney so that she could live and spend a little more time with her family. She found out that she had breast cancer and she faught and won that battle. but they had to remove her breast.. About a year ago she fell and broke a bone in her back... She pulled thru that sugery as well.. She has had Congestive heart failure several times in the past few years. Yet she was up and moving and doing things you wouldn't think someone her age could or should be doing. As I looked at her yesterday, I no longer saw that strong woman... I saw for the first time in my life a weak fragile woman.. I know we all must go but it doesn't make it hurt any less. but I will always remember her as that strong woman who never let things get her down.
The dodtors are saying that her lungs and kidney are weak..
she also broken another bone in her back but they can't go in and fix it because she is on blood thinners for a blood clot in her leg. To big of a risk that she would bleed to death. No one wants her to suffer anymore.. but at the same time we want to hold on as long as we can..
