well this hasn't been a good weekend... my dad was in a motorcycle wreck and broke the big bone in his left leg... They had to do surgery and put a rod in his leg. Looks like he will be staying with me for a while. sighs...

It's his choice, poor as it may be and you can't very well change his mind. If you two come to a confrontation of some sort, say what you're feeling, your thoughts and leave it at that. Then jut go on living your life. His poor choices should interfere with your happiness.
