Well, if you were in Vegas and at the Kill Hannah show and did not see me at the merch booth, there's a really good reason for that.
We never made it. Well, not in time anyways. We got there just in time for load out.
Basically, my car had been acting a bit strange but everyone said it was fine, blahblahblah. We are about a mile south of Primm, 40 miles south of Vegas, and there was some traffic. Traffic starts moving, my car doesn't. Rest of the story under the spoiler.

We got stuck in the desert in over 100 degree weather for FOUR HOURS. No food. The only water we had was boiling hot and we eventually ran out of that as well. I have roadside assistance through this company through my cell phone. Definitely cancelling it and getting AAA. They were supposed to send us highway patrol, they didn't, we called them literally about 13 times for a tow truck and they kept lying to us and saying someone was on the way. Finally we get even more adamant and they tell us that the call was canceled because we are on the state line and no one wants to come get us. One tow truck DID come to us but he pulled over and asked if we were in an accident. We weren't and he just left us. Finally he comes back and is like, "Are you guys SURE you didn't get in an accident?" Umm.. yeah. Pretty sure we wouldn't miss that. We ask if there's anyway he can help us. There isn't. He says that it'll cost $410 to tow us to the closets mechanic. The whole time he was a HUGE dick to us. We ask him to hold on for one minute while we figure this out. HE LEAVES. HE JUST LEFT THREE YOUNG GIRLS IN THE FUCKING DESERT. Finally, highway patrol comes back [he had stopped earlier but there was a bad accident that he had to go to]. We tell him that we got a tow truck on the way to get us [a REALLY nice guy that even offered to bring us water and was going to tow us for MUCH cheaper]. At this point, we are all delirious, sunburned, and about to pass out. So he tells me to put my car in neutral and he was going to have me steer while he bumped my car to the Primm exit with his car. SOOO FUCKING SCARY. It was so hard to control the car and to press on the brakes and oh my god.
So we finally got towed, the tow truck guy brought us water and took us to our hotel and took my car to an amazing mechanic. Let me just say that we got very nicely drunk that night. Seriously, that was the most expensive trip to Vegas I've ever had. I'm just glad that my car is in fiiiiiine working condition now. And SO thankful to Jim from Keystone Towing in Vegas. ha
In other news, i'm trying to get a job in the states!!! At LAST! No more southern hemisphere!!!
I hope you're well and that you're over your sunburn.
