i've had a revelation that i'd love to share.
one point of eternal struggle for me is the simple question: when to act, when not to? when i find myself purged of a particular problem, when i have done something right or learned some lesson, something always rises to replace what has fallen. like a endless book there's always another chapter and that's fine but as the stories constantly change sometimes i get stuck. often this is due to enviromental considerations or, more usually, things that will change shortly but just not yet. when do you push on ahead, come what may, and when do you just sit back and admire all the good work you've already done?
does that make any sense at all? to me this must be the difference between knowledge and wisdom. just because you can do something doesn't mean you should and just because something is scary doesn't mean you can't do it. meanwhile, if we are to assume the universe has a plan of its own, and that some form of spiritual karma will lead you if you just let it, when are you "flowing with the force" and when are you just spazzing like a four year old who wants his cookie NOW?
if i figure out the answer i'll post it. cheers.
